Hello! My name is Channa Gonzales. I am a wife and mother of two beautiful girls. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Sacramento. During my senior year in high school, I had the opportunity to volunteer in a second-grade classroom which I discovered my passion for teaching young children. I have been working with young children as a tutor and teacher assistant throughout my educational periods. After graduating from college, I had the opportunity to teach preschool in Lincoln, gaining two years of Montessori experience. I also had the opportunity to lead a preschool classroom in Roseville for three years. I then inspired by Montessori’s philosophy, which I decided to pursue my Montessori training in 2017. This year will mark my fifth year of teaching Montessori classroom. I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to come back to Lincoln and work with your child as they grow and learn with Sterling/ Bambini Montessori.
As a teacher, I strive to ensure that each child reaches his/her own potential and to provide a caring atmosphere in which your child can learn. As Maria Montessori once said, “The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist.” One test of the correctness of educational procedure is the happiness of the child. – Maria Montessori.
